Tutorial
Follow this guide to correctly configure your Telegram group and reset your Groupy subscription plan. This ensures members join only through your paid subscription link and that your content stays secure.
01
Open your group in Telegram. Tap the group name at the top, then tap the Edit (pencil) icon in the top-right corner.
02
Go to Group Type and make sure the group is set to Private so only users with your invite link can join. It's also highly recommended to Revoke any old invite links to ensure only new subscribers can join through Groupy. If you want to prevent members from forwarding or saving your content, enable Restrict Saving Content.
03
Go back to the main settings page and tap on Permissions. Turn OFF the permissions for Add Members, Pin Messages, and Change Chat Info. If you don't want members to post, you can also turn off Send Messages.
04
Open the Groupy bot in Telegram.
05
Tap the Command button in the bottom-right corner (to the left of the voice record button), then select the command to choose or create your group.
06
Select the group you just configured. The bot will send you a settings link. Open that link to set up your subscription plan again. Adjust the price, duration, and other options as needed, then save your new plan.
07
Once you have saved your new plan, click "Share subscription link" to get the correct link to share with your audience. Use this new link everywhere you promote your group (social media, website, bio, etc.). Only users who subscribe through this link will be able to join.
You can always reopen the Groupy bot to tweak your settings, change pricing, or update permissions as your community grows.
